You and your significant other are in the midst of planning your wedding. However, you want to do something a bit different when it comes to where the wedding takes place, and would ideally prefer a destination wedding. Thus, you should consider planning a wedding cruise.

The first thing that you need to think about when it comes to wedding cruises is where you would ideally like to go. It should be noted that a wedding cruise is actually a regular cruise, in which you choose to have your wedding at some point during the trip. The cruise could be one to the Caribbean, or perhaps to Europe.
Where you choose to go for your wedding cruise will have to do with several factors. First of all, think about the cruise line do you have a preference? Also, you will need to think about the time of year that you want to have the wedding, because that can affect the various cruise destinations.
Of course, one of the most important aspects of wedding cruises is figuring out the costs. Ideally, you would pay for all of your guests to join you. However, if you do not have a lot of money, you might be able to have your guests come and make it part of a vacation that they were planning to take anyway.
Another thing you need to consider is what the cruise line restrictions are in terms of where you can hold your wedding and how far in advance you need to book the various venues. Some cruise ships allow you to have the ceremony on the deck (especially romantic during the sunset) or perhaps in the ship s chapel.
Of course, one of the most wonderful parts of the wedding cruise is the reception. If possible, you might be able to book one of the restaurants or clubs on board the ship for the reception. However, if you choose to have those areas exclusively for your wedding party, it might cost a considerable amount of money.
Something else that some couple choose to do is take a cruise with all of their guests on board, and then have the wedding on one of the beaches of the cruise destination. However, keep in mind that certain laws require the couple to be at the wedding destination, if it is out of their country of citizenship, for a couple of days.
